Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. has updated its visa stamp affixation service at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Effective immediately, visa affixation appointments will no longer be scheduled between 00:00 and 05:00. This applies both to new applicants in process and to existing members who have already received their membership number and are preparing for first arrival. Below is what this means in practice, who is affected, and how to handle a flight booked within the restricted window.
The Update at a Glance
No visa stamp affixation appointments at Suvarnabhumi Airport between 00:00 and 05:00. Plan arrival flights outside this window where possible. If your flight schedule unavoidably falls within the restricted hours, contact your authorized GSSA in advance so arrangements can be coordinated with Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd.
What Changed
Until this update, Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. accommodated visa stamp affixation appointments at Suvarnabhumi around the clock. Effective immediately, the service window for first-time affixation at Suvarnabhumi excludes the 00:00–05:00 hours. The change reflects an operational adjustment by Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. and applies to all approved members and applicants in process.
For clarity, this update concerns only the first-time affixation of the Privilege Entry Visa sticker in your passport on initial arrival. Members who already have the visa sticker in their passport and are simply re-entering Thailand on subsequent trips are unaffected — the Elite Personal Assistant (EPA) airport service and Fast Track immigration lane continue to operate as usual across all arrival hours.
Who Is Affected
- New applicants in process — those currently submitting documents or in the 30–45 day Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. review window. When planning your first arrival flight, choose a slot outside 00:00–05:00 if possible.
- Approved members preparing for first arrival — those who have received their Thailand Privilege membership number but have not yet had the visa sticker affixed in their passport. If your already-booked flight falls within the restricted hours, contact us early so we can coordinate an exception.
- Members who chose airport affixation over Bangkok office affixation — Suvarnabhumi is a popular choice for affixation on first arrival because it avoids a separate Chaengwattana Immigration Office visit. The Bangkok office option remains available without these new hour restrictions.
Members who already have the Privilege Entry Visa sticker in their passport from a prior arrival, members travelling on a transferred sticker after passport renewal, and members re-entering Thailand on regular arrivals are not affected by this change.
Exceptions to the New Hours
Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. has identified two categories of exception:
- Unavoidable flight schedules. When commercial flight routes from your origin city only land at Suvarnabhumi within the 00:00–05:00 window, you can request an exception with prior notice to your authorized GSSA. Coordination with Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. is handled on your behalf.
- Flight delays into the restricted timeframe. If your scheduled landing is outside the restricted hours but a delay shifts your actual arrival into the 00:00–05:00 window, the exception applies. Your authorized GSSA coordinates the rescheduling on your behalf.
In both cases, advance notice to your GSSA is what enables the exception to be processed smoothly. Walking up to the affixation desk at 02:00 without prior coordination is not an option under the new policy.
What to Do if Your Flight Is Already Booked
If you have already booked a flight that lands at Suvarnabhumi between 00:00 and 05:00 and you have not yet had your visa sticker affixed:
- Confirm your scheduled landing time and Suvarnabhumi terminal.
- Contact our team via WhatsApp, LINE, or phone +66 65-156-1561 with your flight details.
- We will coordinate the exception with Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. on your behalf and confirm the arrangement with you before arrival.
If you have flexibility on your booking, the cleanest alternative is to choose an arrival flight outside the 00:00–05:00 window. Most major routes into Suvarnabhumi from Japan, Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and elsewhere offer multiple daily options outside this range.
The Bangkok Office Alternative
Affixation at Suvarnabhumi is convenient because it happens on arrival without an additional trip. The alternative remains available and is unaffected by this update: affixation at the Chaengwattana Immigration Office in Bangkok. For Daimaru Trading members in the Bangkok area, the Elite Personal Liaison (EPL) handles the Chaengwattana affixation on your behalf — you provide your passport and the EPL coordinates with Thailand Immigration directly, with no airport timing involved.
Members whose flight schedule unavoidably falls within the restricted Suvarnabhumi window may also choose to delay affixation until after arrival and complete it at Chaengwattana instead. Discuss with our team which option fits your situation.
Why This Matters for Your Planning
The Privilege Entry Visa sticker is the operative credential of your Thailand Privilege membership. Until it is affixed in your passport, your membership exists but is not yet active for immigration purposes. The first-time affixation is therefore a meaningful step, and the timing now requires slightly more planning than before.
For new applicants finalizing their application: build the 00:00–05:00 exclusion into your travel plans from the start. Choose an arrival slot that comfortably falls outside the restricted window — late morning, afternoon, or evening Suvarnabhumi arrivals work well and avoid any need to request exceptions.
For approved members already in the process of planning first arrival: review your itinerary now and contact us if your current flight falls within the restricted hours. Earlier coordination is always easier than last-minute rebooking.
