The day
This edition was deliberately smaller and more exclusive than earlier years, which drew 120–140 participants. Amata Spring is a private club that is usually open to members only, and the field was kept to 41 attendees.
The format followed earlier editions: a single-day tournament with mixed flights of Japanese and Thai golfers, followed by an awards ceremony and dinner. Representatives of Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. and the Tourism Authority of Thailand joined the Daimaru Trading team on the course and at the ceremony.
The 2026 edition was co-sponsored by Ichirin, Thabiland and PJC. Our thanks to all three for their support.

Amata Spring Country Club is in Chonburi province, south-east of Bangkok. It is the first time the tournament has been held there; previous venues were The Royal Gems Golf City, Subhapruek, Bangkok Golf Club, Royal Bang Pa-in, Suwan and Robinswood.
Earlier editions were held in February; the 2026 edition took place in late October.
A tournament with a history
The tournament began in 2018 as the TGWA Thailand Elite Cup and was renamed the Thailand Privilege Cup in 2023, following the program's own rebrand from Thailand Elite to Thailand Privilege. Editions in 2021 and 2022 were paused because of COVID-19 travel restrictions.

Why we host it
The tournament has no effect on visa applications. Every Thailand Privilege Visa (formerly Thailand Elite Visa) application goes through the same process, whether or not the applicant plays golf. What the tournament does is keep a long-running working relationship between Daimaru Trading and Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. in person, outside meeting rooms — which helps when we need to resolve an applicant's question quickly.
