Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. is discontinuing the Bronze membership — the ฿650,000, five-year entry tier — with 30 September 2026 as the final day for new applications. From 1 October 2026, Gold (฿900,000, five years) becomes the entry-level Thailand Privilege Visa. Existing Bronze members are not affected. Here is what is changing, who it matters to, and what the timeline realistically allows.
Quick facts
- What: Bronze membership (฿650,000 · 5-year multi-entry visa · individual applicants) is being discontinued.
- Final day for applications: 30 September 2026.
- From 1 October 2026: Gold (฿900,000 · 5 years) is the entry tier.
- Existing Bronze members: unaffected — the membership runs its full term.
- Payment: still only after approval; the deadline is about submitting a complete application, not paying.
What is changing?
Bronze was introduced with the late-2023 rebrand as the most accessible way into the Thailand Privilege Visa program: a five-year multi-entry visa with premium-lane immigration, an Elite Personal Assistant on arrival, 90-day reporting support, and bank-account facilitation — without the Privilege Points and lifestyle benefits of the higher tiers. Its availability was always described as limited, and its application window was extended more than once during 2025 and 2026. The current window, ending 30 September 2026, is the final one.
After that date the five-tier line-up becomes four: Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Reserve. Nothing else in the program changes — visa terms, the annual stamp process, 90-day reporting, and the fee-after-approval rule all remain as they are.
Who does this affect?
Individual applicants who wanted the lowest entry price. This is the group with a decision to make. If a five-year membership at ฿650,000 fits your plans, the application needs to be complete and submitted before the deadline. If you are still weighing it up, the practical comparison is Bronze now versus Gold later — see below.
Existing Bronze members. No action needed. Under the program's standard practice when a tier is retired, current memberships continue for their full term with the same visa and benefits. Renewal of the annual stay stamp works exactly as before.
Families and applicants considering Platinum, Diamond, or Reserve. Not affected by the Bronze change. Note that the separate ฿750,000 Next Member promotion also ends on 30 September 2026, so the two deadlines coincide.
Bronze now or Gold later?
| Bronze (until 30 Sep 2026) | Gold (from 1 Oct 2026, entry tier) | |
|---|---|---|
| Membership fee | ฿650,000 one-time | ฿900,000 one-time |
| Visa | 5-year multi-entry | 5-year multi-entry |
| Privilege Points | None | 20 per year |
| Airport & immigration | Premium lane, Elite Personal Assistant | Premium lane, Elite Personal Assistant, airport transfers via points |
| Lifestyle benefits | Not included | Spa, wellness, and golf privileges |
| Who it suits | Individuals who want the visa and airport service only | Individuals who will use the lifestyle benefits |
The honest framing: the ฿250,000 difference buys Gold's points and lifestyle benefits. If you would use them, Gold may be the better membership regardless of the deadline. If you would not, Bronze before 30 September is the last chance at the lower fee. Full details on both pages: Bronze and Gold.
What does the timeline realistically allow?
The deadline applies to submitting a complete application. Approval by Thai authorities typically takes 30 to 45 days from submission of complete documents, and the membership fee is only collected after approval — so a Bronze application submitted in late September would be approved and paid in October or November under the Bronze terms. Confirm the exact cut-off procedure with us before relying on a last-day submission; incomplete files submitted at the deadline are the main risk.
What a complete application needs is set out on our required documents checklist: passport copy, photo, and the application form for the background check. There is no proof of income or bank balance at the application stage.

Frequently Asked Questions
When does Thailand Privilege Bronze stop accepting applications?
30 September 2026 is the final day. Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. is discontinuing the Bronze tier from 1 October 2026. A complete application must be submitted by the deadline; confirm the exact cut-off procedure with your authorized agent.
What happens to existing Bronze members after 30 September 2026?
Nothing changes for them. Existing Bronze memberships continue for their full five-year term with the same visa and benefits. The discontinuation affects new applications only.
What is the cheapest Thailand Privilege membership after Bronze ends?
Gold, at ฿900,000 for a five-year multi-entry visa. Gold adds 20 Privilege Points per year plus spa, wellness, and golf benefits that Bronze did not include, which is the main reason for the ฿250,000 difference.
Do I have to pay for Bronze before 30 September 2026?
No. Payment is only collected after Thai authorities approve the application, which typically takes 30–45 days from submission of complete documents. The deadline is about submitting a complete application in time, not about paying by 30 September.
Thailand Privilege Bronze — ฿650,000 for a five-year visa — closes to new applications on 30 September 2026 and is discontinued from 1 October. Gold (฿900,000) becomes the entry tier. Existing Bronze members keep their membership for its full term. For new applicants, the decision is Bronze now if the visa and airport service are what you want, or Gold if you would use its points and lifestyle benefits; either way, a complete application is what the deadline requires, and payment follows approval.
